Class Description:

Discover the wonder of wet felting, create a beautiful and practical Wool Bowl Cozy in this beginner friendly wet felting workshop, no experience needed. Come create with us!

You will be guided through the process of transforming soft wool fibers into a finished Bowl Cozy that is functional and unique. All felting supplies are included.  The wool chosen for this project is Corriedale, color is Moss with Glitzy Moss Merino wool highlights.

Your Cozy is designed to hold a hot bowl after it has been heated in the microwave, it protects your hands from burning and can be safely carried to the table.  The wool helps retain warmth during your mealtime.

Supplies Needed:

Bring your favorite 7” wide x 2” deep round bowl, your completed Cozy will be a custom fit.  Also bring a hand towel.  All other materials needed to create this project will be provided. Care instructions will be provided during the class.

Meet The Instructor:

Nancy Boyle is a multidisciplinary artist influenced by the natural world around her.  Her pieces often reflect sunsets and/or blooms from her perennial gardens.  Her practice spans wet felting, needle felting and 3D sculpture, as well as 2D felted works and pet portraits.

Nancy has joyfully shared the magic of felting with both children and adults and is thrilled to bring her passion for this remarkable art form to you.

Cancellations & Refunds:

• No refunds will be issued for no shows.

• No refunds will be issued for any dropped students during the class/session.

• Cancellations prior to the first date of class or classes will incur a $10 cancellation fee deducted from the refund.

• Class cancellation due to the Instructor or GLAF will receive a full refund.

• If a class needs to be made up, due to weather, etc., the Instructor will contact you.
