Class Description:

Create a One-of-a-Kind Wearable Work of Art!

At this workshop you’ll learn how to work with mosaics on a very small scale. Beginning with a blank pendant and a twenty-inch silver chain, you’ll have a variety of beads, tiles, shells or other bits and pieces to arrange in any way you like.

Even if you’ve done other forms of tiling, you’ll find that doing something smaller can be even more rewarding! Come play with color, textures and patterns - the combinations are endless, and your finished necklace will become a beautiful piece of wearable art.

All materials are included, and you’ll leave with a beautiful handmade pendant ready to wear or give as a special gift.

Meet The Instructor:

“I’ve been an art lover for as long as I can remember.  I was especially proud to be the one that loved to draw, craft and admire my father’s special gift of furniture design and carpentry.  It was with those beginnings that my art studies in high school and college lead to a special interest in three-dimensional design.  From there the leap to mosaic studies and teaching seemed inevitable.”

Nancy has provided instruction since 2009 as a mosaic instructor through many locations in Illinois and Wisconsin.  Her pieces have been commissioned as permanent installations for both private and commercial projects.

Cancellations & Refunds:

• No refunds will be issued for no shows.

• No refunds will be issued for any dropped students during the class/session.

• Cancellations prior to the first date of class or classes will incur a $10 cancellation fee deducted from the refund.

• Class cancellation due to the Instructor or GLAF will receive a full refund.

• If a class needs to be made up, due to weather, etc., the Instructor will contact you.
