Bonnie is known for her animal and landscape oil paintings. She began painting while in college and has continued her studies with workshops with local and nationally known artists. Her animal portraits are in homes across the country. She enjoys painting in her home studio in Illinois, and also painting "en Plein Air" and facing the challenges of painting landscapes directly and quickly outside.

Bonnie is an active member of Geneva Lake Arts Foundation and exhibits her artwork at Gallery 223, Winnetka Community House and other local venues. She helps promote art in her community as a Northbrook Arts Commissioner, and a sustaining Board member of North Shore Art league. She has broadened her art network through memberships in Oil Painters of America, American Academy of Equine Art, American Impressionistic Society, Laguna Plein Air Painter's Association, California Art Club and Mendocino Art Center.

Bonnie is passionate about painting animals and landscapes, and the process of creating art.
