Suzanne Tsamardinos lives in Burlington, Wisconsin. She was born in Madison, Wisconsin. The lakes, forests and outdoor vitality of the city were major factors in developing her love of both nature and city life. Many times these scenarios are reflected in her choice of painting subjects. Suzanne obtained an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Following a successful career in computers her focus is now art. She is primarily a self-taught painter, working in acrylic and watercolor mediums. Suzanne has studied various painting styles and techniques with several accomplished artists from Wisconsin and Florida. Suzanne is a member of several painting groups and exhibits at Gallery 223 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and Sunshine Art Gallery in St Pete Beach, Florida, where she has received Viewer's Choice awards, and several commissions. ARTIST STATEMENT I have found great joy and satisfaction in creating art. The artistic journey mirrors life, beginning with the initial concept and first brush stroke. Each stroke alters the perception and final outcome of the picture, much as life events impact, shape and mold the person. The final picture may be significantly different than the intended initial concept.
