Spencer Meagher (Mt. Vernon, IL) is a plein air and studio painter now well into his fifth decade of painting, and is fluent in watercolor, oils and acrylics. He has 20+ years of experience teaching workshops, specializing in strong design and understanding values as a solid foundation for a successful painting. Spencer teaches a variety of painting approaches, broadening each students’ view of creating art. Spencer has won multiple awards in juried competitions across the country and has been featured multiple times in Plein Air Magazine and other publications.
WORKSHOP APPLICATION- INFORMATION AND FEES
The Geneva Lake Arts Foundation (GLAF) (a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization) is proud to present Spencer Meagher for a weekend online Zoom watercolor painting workshop. The Zoom link for the class will be sent out prior to the first day. Open to all levels of artists. Class size is limited so don’t delay sending in your registration. The workshop times are 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. CST each day. Spencer will provide real-time feedback and instruction as you work, as well as demonstrations of technique. You will need a steady Internet connection and an enabled camera and microphone through your computer or web cam. Come prepared to have a great time. * Workshop participation is limited to age 18 and up.
Fee: $100 tuition for GLAF members. $125 for non-members. Class is limited to the first 8 registered students.

Refunds: No refunds of any kind will be made for no shows or for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the beginning of the class. Students who stop attending during class without prior approval will forfeit all claims for tuition refund or credit.
Cancellations: Geneva Lake Arts Foundation has the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment or due to circumstances beyond their control. If cancellation is necessary, all tuition will be refunded. If space is available, transfer options will be offered at no extra fee to the student. Students who cancel after registration will be charged a $50.00 fee for each canceled workshop. Students who wish to cancel must notify the chairperson* for this event by telephone. Email or phone messages left on answering machine are not acceptable forms of cancellation. The remaining balance of workshop funds will be returned if cancellation occurs no less than 30 days prior to the beginning of the class.
