Meet The Instructor:

Venarella Hinkle first studied watercolor over 15 years ago falling in love with the flow of water and pigment.  She continued her education under well known artists working diligently to develop her own style and skills.  Venarella has been featured in McHenry County Magazine as Artist Showcase; received highest auction bid at Rockford Anderson Gardens; won first placed in Beeblys Watercolor Painting – just to name a few of her awards.  She has taught classes both in person and online via Zoom.  “I learned what it means to paint what you love”.  She now specializes in Pet Portraiture and in teaching others the amazing effects that can be achieved with the beauty and transparency of Watercolor.
