Student Art Show 2025

Walworth County high school students were honored for their outstanding works of art during an awards program Thursday, April 10 as part of the annual Student Art Show presented by the Geneva Lake Arts Foundation at Gallery 223 in downtown Lake Geneva.


Thank you to our judges, GLAF members Lisa Dukowitz of Burlington, WI, and Caroll Pearson of Lake Geneva, WI. Both are former high school art teachers and award winning artists.

Walworth County Arts Council scholarships were presented by council member Sybil Klug (center) to Badger High School student Jonathan Klug and Whitewater High School student Ava Nygren.

During the GLAF Student Art Show, the Walworth County Arts Council presented two $2,000 scholarships to graduating seniors who plan to study fine arts at college.  The presentations were made by council member Sybil Klug, also a GLAF member. One scholarship was presented to Badger High School student Jonathan Klug of Lake Geneva. The second scholarship went to Ava Nygren, an Elkhorn resident who attends Whitewater High School.
