Class Description:

Discover the creative possibilities of Gelli Plate Printing in this fun, hands-on workshop! Through a variety of layered printing techniques, you’ll create three unique 5” x 7” artistic greeting cards that reflect your personal artistic style. You will leave with your finished artwork ready to frame, gift, display or use as inspiration for future projects.

No experience is necessary, and all supplies are included. Participants are encouraged to bring an apron or wear old clothes, as acrylic paint can be messy and stain.

Meet The Instructor:

Heather Adams-Courtin is a passionate artist and lifelong advocate for the visual arts. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from the University of Illinois. Since graduating, Heather has dedicated her career to inspiring young artists as a middle school art educator for the past 27 years. Alongside her teaching she maintains an active studio practice, drawing inspiration from both traditional and contemporary techniques. Heather’s work reflects her enduring commitment to artistic exploration, education and the transformative power of the arts.
Cancellations & Refunds:
No refunds will be issued for no shows.
No refunds will be issued for any dropped students during the class/session.
Cancellations prior to the first date of class or classes will incur a $10 cancellation fee deducted from the refund.
Class cancellation due to the Instructor or GLAF will receive a full refund.
If a class needs to be made up, due to weather, etc., the Instructor will contact you.
