Laurie  A. Sell is a Burlington artist and entrepreneur who specializes in hand  sculpting unique, one-of-a-kind woodland animals out of clay.  These  creatures come to life under the skillful touch of the artist hand  painting or glazing each piece.  All of her work shows a designer’s taste.  In addition to creating in clay, she enjoys photography, designs  and paints wall murals, home décor, and has staged award-winning retail  shop windows.

Laurie’s  inspiration comes from her love for the outdoors including fishing,  hiking and water sports. You will often find her kayaking on the lake.   Her original and whimsical work reflects this influence.

She  is an exhibiting member of Gallery 223, Lake Geneva’s finest art  gallery in the historic district at 223 Broad Street.  In addition, as  the sole proprietor of Lake Geneva Staging Company, she often shares  valuable, creative tips and staging ideas on her professional Facebook  page.

Laurie is also the Co-President and Public Relations Chairperson for the  non-profit home staging group Staging WIRCs.  While in that group, she  has been involved in a $16K makeover of Building 11 Transitional Living  Center for Veterans, at the VA in Milwaukee. Laurie and fellow members  also voluntarily performed a makeover of two rooms for a 13-year-old  with cancer in cooperation with the group Special Spaces of Milwaukee.
