From the prairie to the lake, I find endless inspiration in the beauty of the outdoors. What moves me most is the rhythm of nature, the rustling wind through the trees, the shifting light, and the ever-changing landscape. Nature is never still. I love being outside, feeling the wind on my skin, breathing in the fresh air, and experiencing the sights, sounds, and scents that make each moment unique. My favorite paintings capture that sense of movement and vitality.

As an oil painter, I have a lifelong fascination with the traditional techniques of the Renaissance and the Impressionist masters. I continue to study these great artists, exploring the materials they used, the methods they developed, and the thoughtful design behind their masterpieces. Their craftsmanship continually inspires my own creative process.

My paintings depict contemporary subjects and familiar scenes, revealing the extraordinary within the ordinary. I enjoy inviting viewers to slow down, look closely, and discover new meanings in everyday moments. Creating art is largely an intuitive process, and I intentionally leave space for the viewer's imagination to complete the story. Each painting represents a slice of life—filled with beauty, joy, humor, mystery, and the wonderfully imperfect nature of being human.
