Corner of Town

Observation, creativity and art have been part of me since a child. One memory comes to mind: on a fall day I was in the car with my father, driving through the mountains of Virginia. One leaf fell from the trees toward our windshield. I must have described the moment to him, and he said, “Angie, you see that leaf and the world in a beautiful way.” Art to me is to showcase the beauty of something or someone.

My high school years were spent with a camera around my neck and a sketchbook as a constant companion. Senior year I received the Governor's Award of Excellence in Art for the state of Ohio. I received a full scholarship to Columbus College of Art and Design.
My first professional venture was store design and display, a creative field I loved. I was District Visual Manager for a large fashion retail company. Family life intervened. Eventually I started studying with prominent artists such as Chuck Marshall, Peggy Baumgertner, Judy Carducci, Susan Ogilvie and others.
I have owned art galleries in Ohio, Indiana and Wisconsin. I have always had a desire to support other artists and promote artistic success.
I have been in many juried art festivals in the Midwest states for over ten years. My greatest satisfaction is seeing the connection to my artwork being shared by others.
